Participation by the residents affected or interested in a project is important to the success of any project. Local knowledge is an invaluable resource that York Region would like to access. Questions, comments, concerns and complaints are valuable information that will help York Region complete the best project possible for its residents. Your participation is always appreciated. Please contact us with questions, comments, advice or concerns and a member of the project team will respond to your comments promptly.

Ways to provide your input to York Region:
1) Browsing the Web site - By visiting the Web site you can offer comments in our "Quick Piks" section that is documented as part of the project record.

2) Registering on the Web site - If you are a resident of York Region and are interested in actively participating in this project, please  Register With Us so you can receive project updates and have the opportunity to make suggestions to draft documentation. This feature is an easy way to stay involved throughout the life of this project. To register, please send us your contact information through the "Tell Us" feature and you will be contacted and provided with more access to project information, data and participation opportunities.

3) Attend Public Forums - Public Forums offer an excellent opportunity for you to speak to the project team, listen to presentations and discuss the project. By attending a Public Forum, you will automatically be given a passcode to the Web site so you can edit that Forum's summary. Public Forums can be night meetings, focus groups or charettes depending on the most appropriate forum for discussing a specific aspect of the project.

4) Calling the Toll Free Number - A toll free number has been put in place to address questions and concerns. This number is also for reporting any well problems you may be experiencing so that a member of the project team can come to your home and investigate. This 24-hour service is available at 1-888-445-4418.

5) Telephoning the Project Team - All members of the project team are happy to discuss any aspect of this project with you. Please go to the  Key Project Staff page or the searchable directory under the  Searchable Directory page to find a list of the project team.

6) Sending Paper Submissions - Please feel free to write or fax your thoughts or questions in to York Region or the project team. Visit the  Key Project Staff page for a list of the project team and their contact information.

7) E-mailing the Project Team - E-mail is a quick and efficient way to communicate with any project team member. E-mail addresses are included with the contact information for the project team in the  Key Project Staff page.
